These terms cover how the Domain Brokerage Group forum works, what members and moderators can expect from each other, and where the limits sit. They apply to every board, thread, appraisal request, marketplace listing and private message sent through the site.
The site hosts discussion boards, appraisal threads, marketplace listings and reference material for domain holders. It is a place to compare notes and post your own numbers. Nothing published here is a valuation, a guarantee of sale, or advice tailored to your situation.
Keep one account, use a working email address, and post under your own name or a consistent handle. Do not list a name you do not control, fabricate comparable sales, or run the same listing across several boards to crowd out other members. Appraisal requests should include the name, your ask and any comps you already have.
Sales, escrow arrangements and registrar transfers are agreed directly between the parties involved. The forum does not hold funds, act as an escrow agent, or verify ownership of a listed name. Check WHOIS records, confirm the registrar, and use a recognised escrow service before any handover of a .co.za or .com name.
You keep ownership of your posts, screenshots and listings, and you grant the site a licence to display and archive them. Do not post personal data belonging to third parties, private correspondence without consent, or material you do not have the right to share. Moderators may edit, move or remove threads that break these rules.
The forum is provided as it stands. We do not promise uninterrupted access, and we are not liable for losses arising from a failed transfer, a disputed name, a missed renewal, or a deal that falls through after a thread. Members act on their own judgement when they quote, buy, sell or hold.
